Everything old can be made new again... As soon as our clients purchased this 1931 home, they engaged us for full design services (architectural & interior design) + furnishing & styling for a whole house remodel. In the process, we converted 745 square foot of garage space to habitable space (with new bedroom, family room, full bath & laundry/mudroom).

For kitchens, every inch counts. This is well exemplified at the appliance garage which is actually “found” space over the existing stairs behind. See construction photos to see where we found this unutilized space.
See our finished photos to see how we creatively used this “found” space above the existing stair to create an appliance garage.
Busy day on site… the first coat of our fireplace lime plaster finish is going up & our roman shades are going up, too.
New drywall is up & taped. The Living & Dining Rooms feel so much more connected with the previous dividing wing walls removed.
Below slab plumbing is complete. Now preparing for new concrete slab at converted garage - vapor barrier is down.
